1-Month Startup Process
Old habits, beliefs, and attitudes are a challenge to break. But how can we replace them with supportive new ones?
Psychological research has found that it can take 30 days to establish healthy new habits, 60 days to master them, and 90 days to make them automatic and permanent features of our daily lives without effort.
RESULTS: We have developed a proven and highly effective startup process for new clients through a principled, experiential, data-informed, and knowledge-based approach to diet and lifestyle.
TIME: It takes TIME for us to get to know you and your patterns, and for your body to experience healing once it receives the necessary nutrients and support. You will have plenty of time to ask questions, learn, keep in touch between sessions, and explore your own unique journey with confidence.
TOOLS: We provide a range of tools, metrics, and personalized practices to support the biochemical, individual needs of each client.
What's included in the process?
1. Initial Interview Session
In this 2 hour session, we review your extensive intake materials, including a 5-Day Food-Mood-Energy Journal, a personal history, and a 320-question health symptom questionnaire that serves as a pretest for the program. This reveals patterns in your body and lifestyle, and provides the direction of treatment.
Next, we conduct a physical functional evaluation to demonstrate what nutrients your body requires right now. We test every nutrient supplement that we recommend for you to take. We end the session by collecting a small hair sample to send to the lab to determine your tissue mineral status and toxic heavy metal burden.
2. Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA)
Once we have the results of your HTMA (after 10-14 days of submittal), we will schedule a 75-minute phone followup session to review the results. The HTMA validates the direction of treatment we began in the Initial Interview Session, and often points out additional nutrient needs, psychological tendencies, and/or energy patterns in your body that require specific attention. This is an excellent scientific baseline to measure against future progress.
3. Followup Coaching Session
The final 90-minute session is similar to the Initial Interview Session in format. We will review another 5-Day Food-Mood-Energy Journal, discuss the effects of the diet and lifestyle changes you have implemented, review another online symptom questionnaire as a comparative post-test of your progress. We will conduct another functional evaluation to confirm that your current nutrient supplements and diet are working or if they need further modification. Lastly, we will detail a plan to support your ongoing health.
The body changes constantly throughout the healing process. We highly recommend additional followup sessions for periodic check-in and support.
